Ant Queen - Creepy Castle

Ant Queen a humanoid ant that who was built in a lab by aliens, and is not actually a queen. She notably has a somewhat less simple/chibi design than most other bugs in the game, probably to serve as a contrast highlighting her outsider status. Initially she's a boss but ends up being the playable character for the game's last 2 chapters, where she has a spaceship called the Vespoid Broodmother. I like that her antennae are sticking out from under her hat. Also her battle theme is cool.

i feel like nar is either up there with LEGENDARY champions SOMEHOW or is your everyday " up & coming " trainer that kind of sucks at what he does / treats his pokemon like pets & domesticates them too much,

so that affects the roster a little bit;

even still, i feel like he'd have one or two " popular " ( but classic ) pokemon like a pikachu or an eevee, one or two kind of impressive pokemon, & then one that is so garbage that he took it in out of pity but that is actually his Baby

way to many people here are brainwashed by the idea of Information Now, Constant Stimuli, Go Go, Go and one of the many ways this is insanely negative is how these people react to "drama news". the INSTANT they hear about it, they assume everyone has heard of it and everyone needs to have acted upon it YESTERDAY.

Going into inboxes to harass fans of creators who Just Now got exposed, getting on a high horse because -at least publically- they want to be Above It All and "i never liked [creator] that much anyway" or on the flip side, posting virtue signaling lines like "remember to log off and take care of yourself <3 :( this is hard for everyone"

like which is it? take time off the internet if this is hard for a fan to deal with? self-care is most important? or the idea that unless you're refreshing and stalking twitter for the Most Recent Creator's statement of affairs in their circles, that you don't care about [abuse, crimes being done, whatever the drama is about] and you're a shit person?

IK it’s seen as cringe to have labels/especially microlabels for your OCs but i really do love designing such specific queer characters for crime express. also do you know how fun it is to both reference queer terms and slang from the 30s and also make up stuff for great ruhose it’s awesome

Charun's Lusus - Hiveswap Act 2

A large, white insect wearing armour made of military scrap. It a lusus, which are pale white animals that serve as guardians and parental figures for Trolls.

Despite being a guardian, it doesn't seem to care much about a pair of strangers entering its home... Maybe that's why it was given armour, to look more intimidating and potentially ward others off without having to fight? Oddly enough it can move the metal legs even though they don't seem to be connected to any of its actual legs.

I thought it was a roach at first because it lives in a garbage dump of a home, but a lot of it is obscured by its armour. It has prominent ocelli, and the abdomen peeking out seems to have about the right shape for it to be an ant.
